Research and Development
AgEconPlus’s contribution to research, development and extension planning includes levy business cases, R&D investment plans and research capability assessment. Levy business cases are prepared in partnership with industry peak bodies, often with Plant Health Australia (PHA), and in accordance with Australian Government developed Levy Principles and Guidelines (2009) twelve levy principles. R&D Investment Plans include analysis of the success of previous investments, literature review, industry consultation, drafting and communication of the resultant documentation. Research capability assessments have been completed on a whole industry basis to inform capacity building investments and the relevant National RD&E Framework.
